In our Previous (update dated 19.01.2015) we mentioned, as per AICTE's new norms/clarification, the Most MCA/M.Sc, M.E Faculties will get suffer.
But, after that recently we come to know that, the AICTE has given additional relaxation to the Colleges for reducing the faculties, which will affect more faculties than the previous announcment.
As per this statement, 20% of the faculty strength can be reduced by the colleges. It can be helpful to the College Managements, but will make a very tough competitive situation in Teachers Jobs in Colleges.

From the above images, if a college need 168 Faculties, now, they can recruit 134 in regular mode and the balance 34 faculty may be Visiting Faculty from Industries. They may not come in the regular role.Like the same, if 16 Faculties required in a Particular Department in Engineering College, they can recruit 13 in Regular Mode and the other 3 may be in visiting faculty. So that, 20% of Management's burden is reduced and the same is increased to the Faculties.

As per the above Notification/Clarification, who are currently doing M.E / M.Tech, after M.Sc/M.C.A are not qualified for Faculty Position in Engineering Colleges.
But, Anna University also recruited faculties from the above mentioned category. So, it is expected to AU will Appeal to AICTE for relaxing the rule.

எம்.சி.ஏ. - எம்.இ. பட்டதாரிகளை பேராசிரியராக நியமிக்ககூடாது: ஏஐசிடிஇ உத்தரவு.
முதுநிலை கணினி அப்ளிகேஷன்ஸ் (எம்.சி.ஏ.) முடித்து முதுநிலை பொறியியல் (எம்.இ.) பட்டம் பெற்றவர்களை பொறியியல் கல்லூரிகளில் ஆசிரியராக நியமிக்கக் கூடாது என அகில இந்திய தொழில்நுட்ப கல்வி கவுன்சில் (ஏஐசிடிஇ) தெளிவான உத்தரவை பிறப்பித்திருக்கிறது.
அதுமட்டுமின்றி எம்.எஸ்சி. கணிதம், எம்.எஸ்சி. இயற்பியல், எம்.எஸ்சி. மின்னணுவியல், எம்.எஸ்சி. கணினி அறிவியல், எம்.எஸ்சி. தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பம், முடித்து எம்.இ. முடித்திருப்பவர்களையும் ஆசிரியர் பணிக்கு பொறியியல் கல்லூரிகள்எடுக்கக் கூடாது எனவும் பொறியியல் கல்லூரிகளுக்கு அனுமதி வழங்கும் அமைப்பான ஏஐசிடிஇ தெளிவுபடுத்தியுள்ளது. இந்த உத்தரவு காரணமாக அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழக துறைகள் உள்ளிட்ட பல தனியார் கல்லூரிகளில் பணிபுரியும் எம்.சி.ஏ.-எம்.இ. தகுதியுடைய பேராசிரியர்களின் பணி நியமனம் கேள்விக்குறியாகியிருக்கிருப்பதாக பேராசிரியர்கள் கருத்து தெரிவிக்கின்றனர்.
தமிழகத்தில் உள்ள பல தனியார் பொறியியல் கல்லூரிகளில் எம்.சி.ஏ.-எம்.இ. முடித்தவர்கள் பேராசிரியர்களாக பணியாற்றி வருகின்றனர் என்பதோடு, தொடர்ந்து இந்த கல்வித் தகுதியுடையவர்கள் பேராசிரியர் பணிக்கு நேரடியாக தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டும் வருகின்றனர்.
தனியார் பொறியியல்கல்லூரிகள் மட்டுமின்றி, அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகமும் கடந்த ஆண்டுகளில் நடத்திய பேராசிரியர் பணி நியமனத்திலும், குறிப்பாக கடந்த 2014-ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளியிட்ட பேராசிரியர் தேர்வு விளம்பரத்திலும் எம்.சி.ஏ.-எம்.இ. கல்வித் தகுதியுடையவர்கள் சில துறைகளுக்கு பேராசிரியர் பணிக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம் என அறிவித்திருந்தது. இந்த நிலையில், பொறியியல் - தொழில்நுட்ப கல்லூரி பேராசிரியர் கல்வித் தகுதி தொடர்பான பல்வேறு சந்தேகங்களுக்கு விளக்கம் அளிக்கும் வகையிலான தெளிவான உத்தரவை ஏஐசிடிஇ கடந்த 13-ஆம் தேதி பிறப்பித்துள்ளது.
அதில், எம்.சி.ஏ. - எம்.இ. கல்வித் தகுதி மட்டுமின்றி எம்.எஸ்சி. கணிதம், எம்.எஸ்சி. இயற்பியல், எம்.எஸ்சி. மின்னணுவியல், எம்.எஸ்சி. கணினி அறிவியல், எம்.எஸ்சி. தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பம், முடித்து எம்.இ. முடித்திருப்பவர்களை பொறியியல், தொழில்நுட்ப கல்லூரிகளில் ஆசிரியர் பணிக்கு நேரடியாகத் தேர்வு செய்யக் கூடாது. இருந்தபோதும், ஏஐசிடிஇ-யின் 2010 நடைமுறை அரசிதழில் வெளியாவதற்கு முன்பு பொறியியல் கல்லூரிகளில் பணியில் அமர்த்தப்பட்ட இந்த கல்வித் தகுதியுடையவர்களை பணி மேம்பாடு போன்றவற்றுக்கு தகுதியுடையவர்களாகக் கருதலாம் என தெளிவுபடுத்தியுள்ளது.
இதுபோல, பி.இ. முடித்து எம்.எஸ். முடித்தவர்களையும், பி.இ. முடித்து நேரடியாக ஆராய்ச்சிப் பட்டம்(பிஎச்.டி.) முடித்தவர்களையும், ஒருங்கிணைந்த ஐந்தாண்டு பி.இ. - எம்பிஏ பட்டம் முடித்தவர்களையும் பேராசிரியர் பணிக்கு அமர்த்திக் கொள்ளலாம் என ஏஐசிடிஇ தெளிவுபடுத்தியுள்ளது.
இதுகுறித்து அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழக பதிவாளர் கணேசன் கூறியது: எம்.சி.ஏ.-எம்.இ. தகுதியுடையவர்களை அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் சில துறைகளிலும் பேராசிரியர் பணிக்கு தேர்வு செய்து வந்துள்ளோம். ஏஐசிடிஇ-யின் இப்போதைய உத்தரவு காரணமாக, இனி இந்தத் தகுதியுடையவர்களைத் தேர்வு செய்ய இயலாது. பல தனியார் பொறியியல் கல்லூரிகளில் எம்.சி.ஏ. துறை மூடப்பட்டுவிட்டது.
அந்தத் துறைகளில் பணியாற்றிய எம்.சி.ஏ. கல்வித் தகுதியுடைய பேராசிரியர்கள், தொடர்ந்து பணியைத் தக்க வைத்துக் கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக எம்.இ. பட்டத்தை மேற்கொண்டனர். இவர்களுடைய நிலை இப்போது கேள்விக்குறியாகியிருக்கிறது என்றார்.
